Power in Numbers: Healthy Weight Loss
You always hear people say “ It’s so easy to put weight on, but hard to get it off.” I’m here to tell you it’s not true. WEIGHT LOSS IS EASY. It just takes understanding of nutrition and commitment to a workout regimen.
So you have to ask yourself these questions.
*Do I really want to shed these ten pounds?
* Am I willing to invest time into the development of a healthier me?
If you’re answers are yes. (( Keep reading I have the formula to SUCCESS))
I come in contact with people every day that have a desire for change, but there is always a couple that can’t answer the question I deem so simple, “What do you want to lose?”
With every aspect of life you should have ((GOALS)) and Fitness is no different. “ To fail to plan is to plan to fail. Have a Goal, a start point, and a end point. Know why you’re at the gym every day. Know why you’re eating a salad instead of a burger. Close your eyes and see your-self at your perfect weight and make GOALS to get there.
Review your goals each week to reinforce them within yourself. If you experience a setback or standstill with your goal, don't panic and give up! Keep pushing. Believe me when I say it’s POSSIBLE!
::Believe it or Not Weight loss is a Numbers game… How well did you do in math??? ::::
Allow me to Break it Down…
Physiologically, you have to burn 7000 calories to lose about 2.2 pounds. ((Sounds impossible right??? WRONG))
You can lose those weight through a combination of decreasing caloric intake to a healthy level and expending calories through physical fitness activities.
For example, let's say you currently take in 2,000 calories a day. If you decrease that by 300 (half plate of chicken rice) and added 200 calories worth of exercises a day (25 minute jog), you would be at a 500 caloric deficit. So, eating 300 less calories a day and expending 200 calories a day through physical fitness activities will result in about 2lbs loss a week. This can be done too by eating food that you enjoy! Just be sure to watch you calorie intake.
It’s all in the numbers so if you MUST have the 300 calorie hamburger, only eat half. So you still satisfied your craving but cut your calorie intake in half.
THE POWER IS IN THE NUMBERS…. DO you have it???? Results or Excuses?? You can’t have both.
